Msg about Chinese trip

Students going on the May 7th LYIT workshop trip must bring in 12 euro payment and ALL participants are reminded to add a 'POT NOODLE' to the shopping basket :) as you will bring this to the event (to learn how to use chopsticks!)

Well done yesterday - pity some messed it up!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done yesterday - a great display of work from everyone - some excellent work - I was very impressed - well done to all and to all who helped organise it as well - dont forget to show these off during interview
A special word of thanks to your teachers aswell - a lot of work went into this display of work so again a massive well done to everyone who contributed!!

However I am very disappointed with the amount of students who dossed down the town and did not go back to class - we let u go to the shop - we allowed u that but yet u still could not do the right thing and come back to class - very disappointing - I have spoken to your teachers and told them that they can give a strike if they like in relation to this - u were all left the library by 245 or so - loads of time to get to the shop and still be back up for class at 310 - THERE BETTER NOT BE A REPEAT OF THIS - its not on!!!

'Time Out'

An exhibition of paintings by TY pupils from Loreto Community School, Milford will open in the Milford Library on Wednesday 22nd April 2015 at 2.15pm. All are welcome. These paintings will be on display for a period of time in the Library. All are welcome to view this display of work.

A workshop in Mandarin Chinese (language/culture) will take place at LYIT on Thursday, May 7^th from 09.10 – 3.45 with Jill Murphy (International Education Manager) and colleagues.

The cost of it and transport is 12 euro per student.

Each pupil is asked to bring a ‘Pot Noodle’  with them to learn how to eat with chopsticks.

Students have the option of bringing their own lunch or purchasing food at the college canteen which is a separate/individual cost. 

The menu options are:

Chicken curry / Fried Rice / Chips

Beef in ginger / Fried Rice / Chips

Sweet & Sour Pork / Basmati Rice

Vegetable Springrolls with soy & sesame noodles.

All above €5.05

Desserts are 2 Euro and there are chocolate bars etc. There is also a sandwich counter.
