Bus will be leaving the school at 830 - Ramelton 840 and Lkenny 850 (M Errigal) - no excuses - just be there and on time - we will return at 530 approx.

We will be leaving both days at 130. PE gear required - u will be inside - no shorts required - tracksuit etc must be worn. Please get changed at lunch so that u are ready to go at 130.

Final trip of TY

The best I can do is 20 EURO each - this doesnt even cover the cost so the school are paying a big contribution and they are also paying the bus. Take your own lunch!

A massive well done to all over the last week

The large majority of the presentations and interviews were extremely impressive and it was obvious that a lot of preparation went into them so a massive well done. It was extremely difficult to mark everyone due to the high quality of the work.

A massive well done once again to all and I hope that the interviews were a good and positive experience for you. They certainly were for us.

I will give out the results towards the end of the week.

Please can everyone begin to prepare for our Ty presentation night and if anyone wants to get involved or wants to help out please see me or the event management group who are organising the night. It is up to everyone to get involved. We want to make it a great night.

Last nite and school magazine

A massive well done to the event management team for last nite. It was a truely excellent show and everyone really enjoyed. A massive well done to all. Great job done

Please note. One of the keys things in TY is that people get on with each other, make an effort to get to know others, respect each other, be friendly, be nice, be helpful, include everyone and generally being a good person.

I have just heard a few things recently which suggests people are not doing the above!! Please make a massive effort over the last few weeks and make a big effort to talk to everyone and include everyone. I want everyone to be happy and to get the most out of the year. Everyone has a role in making this happen.

If there are any issues please come and speak to me. My door is always open.

Lap Top availability

The lap top is available in the PE OFFICE all week - you are not allowed to come during class time - breaktime and lunch time only

If u have a free class - you can go and get the lap top and take it to your class - you must save your work on the desktop, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS WORKING PROPERLY AND THEN LEAVE THE LAP TOP BACK

Since we had no Home Ec today and will have no Home Ec class next Thursday , could everyone please ensure that they have the Bake Off or Italian cuisine assignment in to me on Tuesday morning so I can mark it and return it to you at a time that is convenient for you on Wednesday - I could also sign all cover sheets at that time - it would save you all the bother of trying to get another time to do it - I am free the two classes before break on Wednesday , maybe one of you would let me know where you are at that time !

Students from N. Odhran/Oliver and a few others in N. Oisin/Orla going to LYIT Chinese Workshop on Thursday, May 07:
Time: (09.10am-3.45pm)

Cost: Those yet to pay 12 euro must do so Tues morning (canteen)/Wed. morning registration.

The group will have a roll call in the canteen before we leave.

Each pupil is asked to bring a ‘Pot Noodle’  with them on the day to learn how to eat with chopsticks.
Students have the option of bringing their own lunch or purchasing food at the college canteen which is a separate/individual cost. 
The menu options are:
Chicken curry / Fried Rice / Chips
Beef in ginger / Fried Rice / Chips
Sweet & Sour Pork / Basmati Rice
Vegetable Springrolls with soy & sesame noodles.

All above €5.05
Desserts are 2 Euro and there are chocolate bars etc. There is also a sandwich counter.

Absent (late) – 3 marks added if u have full attendance – every 5 days off – you loose 1 mark – every 5 days late – you loose half a mark
Behaviour – good or bad? How many negative notes in diary over whole year? What percentage of effort did you put into the year?

Signed (both terms by Parents/Guardians)
Evaluations – within diary – with you
Total number of Strikes received through the year (1 mark lost for each strike) Also 3 marks added if you have no strikes
Positive notes in diary over the whole year – if you get 3 you get rid of a strike (Mr Doherty must have signed off on this) – if you have no strikes and you get 3 positive notes you will gain 1 mark – again this must be signed off before the interviews
